© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, December 15, 2010 Lillie "Mae" [King] Duncan CHICKASHA ~ Graveside service for Lillie "Mae" Duncan, 90, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Oklahoma. Lillie "Mae" Duncan was born November 27, 1920 in Russellville, Alabama the daughter of Charlie and Ludy [James] King. She died December 14, 2010 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mae moved to Oklahoma at 6 weeks of age and grew up in the Lawton area. She married Roy A. Duncan on May 1, 1943, and they moved to Texas in 1951. She moved back to Chickasha in 1970. Mae loved to play cards with her friends and grow her roses. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Roy A. Duncan, 1 daughter: Vicki. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives: Larry and Nola Duncan of Oklahoma City, Dusty and Susan Duncan of Okarche, 5 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 1 great grandson, 3 great granddaughters, 2 sisters:, Helen Smith of Chickasha, Sue Roberts of Blalnchard, 2 brothers: Chester King of Huntsville, Alabama, Alvin King of San Antonio, TX. Nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
