© The Lawton Constitution April 5, 2001 Robert Clinton Ball 4 May 1924 ~ 4 Apr 2001 FLETCHER ~ Funeral for Robert Clinton Ball, 76, Fletcher, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fletcher Christian Church with Jim Hall, pastor, officiating. Mr. Ball died Wednesday at a Cyril care facility. Burial will be at Fletcher Cemetery under direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher. He was born May 4, 1924, in Fletcher to Clinton and Dora Logan Ball. He married Charlotte Zisman on Jan. 25, 1945, in Lawton. He was an employee of Dolese for 34 years as a front-end loader operator. He retired in 1989. He also farmed. He was a member of Fletcher Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters: Becky Fitzgerald and her husband, Fred, Rush Springs; and Ann Churchwell, Fletcher; three sons: Bobby Ball and his wife, Judy, Chickasha; Frankie Ball and his wife, Jeanette; and William Ball and his wife, Chris, all of Sterling; 11 grandchildren: Audra, Mandy, Jeanette, Frankie, Bubba, Summer, Will, Shelby, Clint, Heather and Whitney; two great-grandchildren: Kyle and Trae; a brother; and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: James and Charles; a sister, Dortha; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Laura Fitzgerald. |
