Edna S. Arrowood

Fletcher (Special) -- Services for Mrs. Edna S. Arrowood, 81, who died on Friday, July 5, 1963 after an extended illness, will be at 2:30 pm on Monday, July 8, 1963 at Dalton Funeral Home chapel. Rev. George Gaidaroff, pastor of the Sterling[, Oklahoma] First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Mrs. Arroweed was born on July 11, 1881 at Quitman, Texas, where she was married to Charles Arrowood in 1898. They moved to Fletcher, Oklahoma in 1911.

She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter: Mrs. Carrie George of Ethel, Washington; a son: Ernest Arrowood, of Fletcher, Oklahoma; two step-daughters: Mrs. Willie Ahlwardt of Wichita Falls, Texas and Mrs. Ethel White of Lawton, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ernest Bruce Arrowood

Fletcher -- Services for Ernest Bruce Arrowood, 61, who died on Saturday, July 12, 1967 in a Lawton, Oklahoma hospital, were to be at 2:30 pm today, July 3, 1967] in the chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home in Fletcher, Oklahoma.

Rev. Ernest Rolland, pastor of the Fletche, Oklahoma Assembly of God Church, was to officiate.

Burial was to be in the Fletcher Cemetery.

Mr. Arrowood was born on November 28, 1905 in Texas. He moved to Fletcher[, Oklahoma] in 1920.

Survivors include a daughter: Erma L. Arrowood of the home; two sons: Kenneth Arrowood and Eddie Arrowood, both of the home; a sister: Mrs. Omar George of Ethel, Washington; a step-sister: Mrs Willie Ahlwardt of Wichita Falls, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Kenneth Dale Arrowood II

FLETCHER Word has been received of the death of Kenneth Dale Arrowood II, 37, Fletcher.

Mr. Arrowood passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at his home in Fletcher.

Arrangements are under direction of Fletcher Funeral Home, Fletcher.

Kenneth Dale Arrowood II was born Feb. 6, 1976, in Chickasha, to Kenneth and Bonnie Cooper Arrowood.

He grew up in Lawton, where he graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1995.

After high school, Dale went into customer service and computer technology.

He loved helping people and did so until his illness no longer allowed. Dale enjoyed staying at home and reading a good book, traveling and anything that had to do with technology. He was a wonderful son, uncle, nephew, and friend and will be dearly missed!

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie, of the home; one brother, Shawn Earhart, of Oklahoma City; three sisters: Carla Arrowood, of Lawton; Tara Williams, of Tennessee; and Catherine Earhart, of Oklahoma City; aunts and uncles: Kathy and Eddi Arrowood, of the home; Frances and Ralph McCullar, of Fletcher; and Erma Bryant, of Lawton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Arrowood; one uncle, Jerry Don Arrowood; maternal grandparents, Carl and Sylvia Cooper; and paternal grandparents, Ernest and Irene Arrowood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kenneth Arrowood Funeral Fund at Arvest Bank in Elgin.
