Lisbon and Mary Dorr. She died Thursday, January 1, 2015 in Lawton at the age of 57. Laurie moved to Lawton in February 1970. She married Willie Philpott on, Dec. 7, 1974, in Lawton. They just celebrated 40 years of marriage. Laurie graduated from Cameron University with a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoyed teaching children. Laurie and her husband Willie owned and operated Willie's Heat and Air where she was the secretary and book-keeper. Laurie was mother to two boys. She prided in spending time and playing with her two granddaughters, Heavenlea and Addysun. She was preceded by her father, Clyde H. Lisbon. She is survived by her husband, Willie, of the home; her oldest son, Dennis Allen Philpott, of Lawton and her youngest son, Max Philpott and wife Cyndi of Lawton; two granddaughters, Heavenlea Marie Philpott and Addysun McKenzie-Lee Philpott; her mother, Mary Bray, of Lawton,; brothers, Pete Lisbon and wife Jane of Sayre, OK; Cole Lisbon and wife Ramona of Burnsflat; and Wade Lisbon, of Pace, FL; her sisters, Wanita Copeland and husband Robert of Pace, FL, and Ellen Merrell and her husband Terry of Pace, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
