Glen C. Lamb

July 12, 1924 - December 14, 2019

Funeral for Glen C. Lamb will be Friday, December 20, 2019, 1:00 pm at RHR Arena Cowboy Church with Pastor Billy Harman and Pastor David Mcghghy, officiating.
Burial will be at Cache Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Huddleston Funeral Service.
Glen Lamb was born July 12, 1924 in Purdy, Oklahoma to Alvin and Rosa Ivy Lamb. He grew up in the Lawton area. He joined the United States Navy at 18 years old and was stationed in San Diego, California working on Sea Planes. After the Navy he hauled hay with his father, drove trucks, was a crane operator and operated heavy equipment. Glen was a lifetime member of American Legion in Mangum, Oklahoma. He was loving father, brother, husband and friend. After his accident in 1973, he had time to fish and spend time with his father fishing. People were drawn to him as he always had a smile on his face, laughs and jokes. He followed life the way he was taught in the bible. He loved Jesus and was always a joy to be around.
Glen C. Lamb passed away December 14, 2019 in Lawton, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Newell; his daughter, Mural Wyatt; his grandsons, Michael Baker and Eli Newman; his granddaughter, Selena Riley; his great grandson, Lane Fairchild; his great granddaughters, Misty Riley and Aidily Lamb; his first wife, Mary Logue and his second wife, Betty Lamb; his sister, Mae Barnett; his brothers, Oliver Troyce Lamb and Lloyd Edgar Lamb; his parents, Alvin and Rosa Ivy Lamb; his brother in law, Bob Fraze; his sons in law, Vivine Baker, Richard Wyatt and Jimmy Newman; and his daughters in law, Teresa Lamb and Linda Austin. Glen is survived by the love of his life, Bessie Thomas of Apache, Ok; his daughters, Barbara and Ted Moss of Priest River, Idaho, Carol Newell of Apache, Ok, Glenda and Joe Smith of Mangum, Ok and Dolores Baker and Edward Hughes of Apache, Ok; his sons, Martin Lamb and Lanita Thompson of Mangum, Ok and Michael and Doris Lamb of Apache, Ok; his sisters, Betty Fraze of Lawton, Maggie and Lee Sailors of Nacogdoces, Texas and Evelyn and Freddy Perou of Lawton; his friend, Ann Scarberry; 24 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; 55 great great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
