Chad Aaron McCarty

September 28, 1973 - May 16, 2020

Services for Chad Aaron McCarty, 46, of Stonewall are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tom Moore will officiate. A graveside service will be 3:30 Thursday at the Tribal Cemetery at Mt. Scott, near Lawton with Rev. Bill Foote officiating.
Mr. McCarty passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Ada. He was born September 28, 1973 at Lawton to Jerry and Phillis Sue Romick McCarty. He graduated from high school and attended Northeastern University in Tahlequah.
Mr. McCarty worked in the Maintenance Department at the Chickasaw Nation. He was a member of the Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Phillis McCarty of Stonewall; a sister, Melinda Shaun Wiegmann and husband John, Norman; brother, Charles M. McCarty and his loving companion, Amanda Watashe, Ada; a niece and two nephews, Devin, Kori and Skylar Wiegmann; and aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Phillip and Rosella Romick; and his paternal grandparents, Homer B. and Rachel McCarty.
The family requests due to the Covid-19 Pandemic that guests wear masks and the 50 people or less will be observed at the service.
