Funeral services for Bobby Dale Layton, a Coal County resident, will be held Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Mr. Danny Ward officiating. Family night will be Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Woodman cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Layton wa born November 8, 1961 in Winchester, KS to Wilson "Bob" F. and Barbara Faye Stiles Layton and passed away December 12, 2009 in Lane, OK at the age of 49. He attended Coalgate Schools and was a carpentar.

Survivors include his father, Bob Layton and wife Mary of Coalgate; sons, Shad Michael Layton of Lehigh, OK; daughters, Lynn Marie Riley and husband Andy of Clarita, OK and Ashley Nicole Aaron and husband Jesse of Sulphur Springs, TX; grandchildren, Chet and Clayton Barnett, Morgann Wilson, Isabella Navarro, and Roick Alexander Layton; special friend, Madonna Robson, brother, Eddie Layton of Foley, AL; sisters, Beverly Layton, Eva Layton, Kelly Low all of Coalgate; step-brothers, Michael Standridge of NY, Dean Standridge and wife Gail of Cody, WY and Kevin Standridge of Cody, WY; step sisters, Enessa Renteria of Austin, TX, Barbara Sale of OKC, Michelle Birchfield and husband Jenkins of Coalgate, OK; along with numerous other relatives, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Stiles Layton; maternal grandparents, Claburn and Juanita Stiles and paternal grandparents, M. H. and Eleanor Layton.

Casketbearers will be Joe Childers, Jimmy Shockey, Jerry Jennings, Tommy Woods, Mike Stiles, Randy McCollum, Marlon Stiles, Larry Francis and Terry Francis.

Honorary bearers will be Billy Stiles and Don Woods.
