Funeral services for for Wanda Lou (Gwinn) Vick, a resident of Olney, were held Monday, February 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Mitchell Davidson officiating. Burial was in Riley Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
Lou was born February 26, 1950 in Ada to Woodrow Wilson and Wanda Jean (Davidson) Gwinn and passed away February 18, 2011 in Olney at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 22 days. She attended Olney school, was a homemaker and attended Jesus Name Mission Church in Olney.
Survivors include her husband Reece Carl Vick of the home in Olney; sons, Reece Vick and wife Darla of Olney, Donald Vick and wife Tabatha of Olney and Daniel Vick of Idabel; father, Woodrow Wilson Gwinn of Coalgate; granddaughter, Paige Vick of Olney; grandsons Austin Vick and Cal Vick of Olney; siblings, James Gwinn and wife Norma of Moore, Nadine Mowdy and husband Jesse of Coalgate, Dave Gwinn and wife Kay of Olney, Kenneth Gwinn and wife Diane of Durant and Roger Gwinn and wife Teena of Atoka; sisters-in-laws, Janice Lanoy and husband Alfred of Olney, Louise Linscott and husband William of Wardville, Margie Christman and husband Larry of Wardville, Jane Loudermilk and husband Tommy of Olney and Birtha Christman and husband Ricky of Pittsburg; along with numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father and mother-in-law Lenn Vick; brother and sister-in-law, Namen and Bernice Vick, and sister-in-law Julia Parker.
Casketbearers were Reece Carl Vick, Reece Curtis Vick, Donald Vick, Daniel Vick, James Gwinn and Dave Gwinn. Honorary bearers were Kenneth Gwinn and Roger Gwinn.
