Taylor James Kerr

Services for Taylor James Kerr, 40, of Stonewall will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Earl Hood and Cecil Wainscott will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Kerr died Monday, August 5, 2024 at a local hospital. He was born July 23, 1984 to Kenneth Kerr and Paula Polk Kerr. He was employed as a ranch hand, enjoyed being a shade tree mechanic and served over 10 years with the Lula volunteer fire department. He loved his side-by-side utility vehicle, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Paula Kerr; his father, Kenneth and wife Linda Kerr; a daughter like his own, Aubrey Brown; brother, Kent Kerr and wife Traci; step-sister, Maekayla Holloway and husband Joe; nieces and nephews, Justin Kerr, Shannon Kerr, Jaylyn Holloway, Loyd Holloway, Chelsea Holloway, Taylor Gage Kerr, and Karlie Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Margie Kerr and John and Melba Polk, Jr.

Bearers will be Kent Kerr, Chris Roundtree, Luke Kerr, Matt Cross, Donald Tollison and Ronny Hillebrand. Honorary bearers will be the Lula Fire Dept., Nick Neel and Ryan Baxley.
