Vyrilla (Roach) Davis was born on September 29, 1922 in Doughtery, Oklahoma to W.M. and Virgie (Brashears) Roach and passed away on March 30, 2014 at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 1 day.
Vyrilla attended school at Wheatland, Oklahoma and was a farmer and a rancher. She married Kenneth J. Davis on March 31, 1989. They moved to Bryan County in July 2012 from Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She was of the Methodist faith and she enjoyed gardening and dogs.
Vyrilla was preceded in death by her parents W.M. and Virgie Roach; husband Kenneth J. Davis and step father Rudy Boettger.
Vyrilla is survived by her step children Judy Quinn and husband Jim of Norman, OK, Glenda Major and husband Larry of Meeker, OK and Kenny Davis of Norman, OK and chosen daughter Patty Sue Wells and husband Dan of Caddo, OK.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery Northwest of Tupelo, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
