John Elmer Watkins, age 72, a longtime Coal, OK area resident
BORN: He was born on Saturday, March 06, 1943, to Eric Hubert and Dorotha Helen (Griffith) Watkins, at Houston, TX.
PASSED AWAY: John passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Atoka, OK.
AGE: 72 years, 11 months and 15 days.
EDUCATION: He attended Plainview Elementary and graduated from Plainview High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree.
OCCUPATION: John was a produce truck driver, carpenter, ranch hand and a roofer.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: John was a Christian. He enjoyed his friends and family and fishing, he was very meticulous with his woodwork and carpentry. John also enjoyed gardening, watching his hummingbirds, feeding deer and turkeys, and collecting rocks. Above all John enjoyed helping others.
