Funeral services for Ella Jean Dodson Lee, a longtime Coalgate resident, were held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Benny Green officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lee was born June 10, 1954 in Ada, OK to Albert and Martha Jane Wheeler Lee and passed away August 26, 2010 in Oklahoma City at the age of 56. She attended the Noble High School and was a beautician. On December 19, 2008 she married Jim Lee in DeQueen, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Lee of Coalgate; daughter, Kristina Grotts and husband Steven of Norman, OK; son, John Travis Branson of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Waxler, Sabrina Beck, and Savannah P. Branson; brothers, Albert Joe Dodson, and Glen Dodson; step-children, Charles Branson, Vernon Branson, Marie miller, Susan Bowers, and Dorothy Jean; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents;and sister Evan Wiseman.

Casketbearers were Vernon Branson, Mike Blaine, Doug Meeks, Eddie Campbell, Ken Cubbage, and Jesse Branson. Honorary bearers were Ray Bolin, Charles Thompson, and Doyle Nelson.
