Ms. Ola Fay (Hampton) Reed, a Coalgate resident, was born on January 27, 1920, to James Charlie and Melva Selene (Hicks) Hampton, at Coal County, OK. She passed away on January 25, 2022 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 101 years, 11 months and 29 days.
Geraldine (Davenport) Davis, a Clarita resident, was born to Ezra and Bertie (Manis) Davenport on September 25, 1927, in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2023 at Coalgate, Oklahoma, with her family by her side. Geraldine was 95 years, 9 months and 20 days old. She graduated from Olney High School. Geraldine was a loving homemaker. She married Lloyd Pierce Davis on August 17, 1946 at Coalgate. Geraldine was a faithful member of the Clarita Methodist Church. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and her yard, playing Wahoo and dominoes. Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
