Okpun Lee Carnes, age 69, a longtime Caney, OK resident. She was born on Friday, January 03, 1947, to Won and Ham (Song) Pong, at Chonan-up, South Korea. Lee passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Caney, OK. She attended Chonan-up ,South Korea High School. Lee was a Laundress at the Atoka Manor and at The Four Seasons in Durant, OK for many years. She married Amos Carnes on December 26, 1981. He precedes her in death on November 27, 1996. Lee attended Pentecostal Holiness of Caney. She loved doing bead work, flower arrangements and growing flowers.

     Lee is survived by, friend and companion, Elmer Barcus Jr. of the home in Caney, Ok; sister, Ki Sawyer and husband Delbert of Harrah, OK; favorite nieces, Debbie Sawyer Smith and husband Marvin of Choctaw, OK; Wanda Sawyer Murphy and husband Albert of Midwest City, OK; grand nieces and nephews, Timothy Johnson and wife Shea of Midwest City, OK; Wesley Smith of Choctaw, OK; Paige Smith of Choctaw, OK; special friends, Nita Kay LeFlore of Atoka, OK; Marian Davis of Dallas, TX; Dora Lee Moore of Atoka, OK; Ethel Wood of Atoka, OK; along with many loved and dear friends.                                                    

     Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Won and Ham (Song) Pong; husband, Amos Carnes, and two sisters.
