Sandra Kay (Franklin) Yarbrough, a Lehigh resident, was born on December 4, 1953, to Leroy Gordan and Juanita Marie (Cottrell) Franklin, at Coalgate, OK. She passed away on June 25, 2023 at Lehigh, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 21 days. Kay attended Lehigh and Coalgate Schools. She was a Clerk for the City of Lehigh. Kay also worked at Coalgate School as the cafeteria manager. She married Jerry Eugene Yarbrough on July 30, 1970 at Lehigh, Oklahoma. They spent many years together until his passing on January 25, 2009. Kay was a member of Lehigh Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles, canasta, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
