William "WW" Wesley Harris

Funeral services for Wilburn "WW" Wesley Harris, a Coal County resident, will be held Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Mike Edmonson officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Harris was born July 27, 1934 in Morton, TX to Porter "PA" and Ruby Jordan Harris and passed away November 7, 2011 in Oklahoma City at the age of 77. He married Merle Louise Gray on January 17, 1958 at Ft. Sill, OK. "WW" attended and graduated Carter Riverside in Ft. Worth, TX and was a ranch manager. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Merle Harris of the home, children, Scott Wesley Harris of Carson City, NV and Stacie Lynn Harris of Dallas, TX; son-in-law Kent Stubbs of Waxahachie, TX; granddaughter, Vana Alley of Dallas, TX; grandson, Clayton Alley and fiance Lindsie Schmidt of Leander, TX; great granddaughter, Kaydnace Bworn of Carson City, NV; great-great grandson, Brayden Wesley Vititow of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Roger Dale Harris and wife Jennifer of Paradise, TX; brother-in-law, Robert Wayne Gray and wife Charlene of Oconee, FL; sister--n-law, Vana Lynn Fielding of Ft. Worth, TX; along with numerous other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Angela Harris.

Casketbearers will be John Henry Miller, Levi Troyer, Robert Raber, Edwin Miller and Kent Stubbs. Honorary bearers will be Marion Floyd and Darrell Taylor.
