John Quinton Branom

Funeral services for John Quinton Branom, a resident of Wichita, KS, were held Friday, August 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jerry Elder. Burial was in Lehigh Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
Mr. Branom was born May 24, 1919 in Lehigh, OK to James Washington and Mary Serena (Farmer) Branom and passed away August 10, 2009 in Wichita, KS at the age of 90. He attended Lehigh School, married Dung Huynh in 1974 in Vietnam, retired from the Army and Navy and was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dung Branom of Wichita, KS; children John Branom, Carol West, Tammy Branom, Loc Branom, Randy Branom, Mary Dietrich, Linda Branom, Donna Hoyer, Thomsa Branom; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Okla Northcutt; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sherman, Berkley, Prentice, Homa, and Bill Branom and sister, Velma Cunningham.
