Billy Rendil Weathers

Billy Rendil Weathers, age 88, a Cottonwood resident. He was born on June 7, 1932, to Herschel and Lillie (Spears) Weathers, at Stigler, OK. Billy passed away on March 9, 2021 at Cottonwood, OK. Billy retired as an Electrician with PSO. Billy served in the United States Army during the Korean War Conflict. He married Gladys Ruth Wood on May 22, 1964 at the Methodist Church in Porum, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on September 19, 2017. Billy devoted his life as Pastor of the Cottonwood Baptist Church for many years. He was a member of the Coalgate Masonic Lodge & Coalgate VFW. He enjoyed gardening, flowers & listening to Bluegrass music.
