BORN: She was born on October 26, 1947, to Warren and Sarah “Jimmie” Delia (Mowdy) Powell, in Lodi, CA.
PASSED AWAY: Laverna passed away on March 1, 2016 in Ada, OK.
AGE: 68 years, 4 months and 4 days
EDUCATION: Laverna attended and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1965, she graduated from UCO & The University of Oklahoma University with Bachelor's Degrees.
OCCUPATION: Laverna was a school teacher at Norman Public School for many years.
MARRIED: Laverna married Dwayne Edmund Miles on May 26, 1966 at the Coalgate First Baptist Church.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Laverna was a member of the Ada First Baptist Church and the Coalgate VFW Auxiliary. She was an artist, decorator and creator extraordinaire.
