Kenneth Wesley Lemons

Kenneth Wesley Lemons, age 83, a Coalgate resident. He was born on June 22, 1937, to Jesse Levi and Laura Ellis (Darnell) Lemons, at Ashland, OK. Kenneth passed away on September 24, 2020 at Coalgate, OK. He attended and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1955.

He worked in the heat & air Industry in Dallas, Tx, and worked for 4 years at the Ammunition Plant, before working retiring for the Oklahoma Highway Department as road supervisor for 26 1/2 years.

Kenneth married Betty Jean Finley on February 11, 1959 in McAlester, OK. He was baptized in the Church of Christ. Kenneth enjoyed ranching, fishing, hunting & gardening but his greatest treasure was spending time with his grandchildren.

Michael Lemons & wife Casey of Coalgate, OK

10 Grandchildren & 13 Great Grand Children

Thelma Dority of Coalgate, OK

Jerry Lemons & wife Bonnie of Coalgate, OK

Along with numerous nieces & nephews, other relatives and many dear friends

Brother-in-law: Jerry Edge of McAlester, OK
