EVELYN MAXINE (JENNINGS) INGRAM
Funeral services for Evelyn Maxine (Jennings) Ingram, a longtime Coalgate resident will be held Thursday, January 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Wayne Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery with arrangements by Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
Mrs. Ingram was born November 1, 1926 in McCarty, OK to Elvis and Ilene (Childers) Jennings and passed away January 2, 2011 in Coalgate at the age of 84. She attended McCarty schools, graduated from Coalgate High School and married Ray Ingram on February 27, 1947 in McCarty, OK. Mrs. Ingram was a beautician and worked for the County Clerk., She was a Charter Member of the Coalgate Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Ingram of the home in Coalgate; sister, Shelby Stephens and husband James of Coalgate; niece, Jamie Anderson and husband David and their daughter, Kelsey of Ada; nephew, Jerry Stephens and wife Stephanie and their sons, Jared and Jace of Coalgate; along with cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Casketbearers will be Harry Tunnel, David Anderson, Mike Ingram, Jimmy Joe Wilson, Gaylin Childers and Jerry Stephens.
