LOTTIE HORTON
ROFF- Services for Lottie Horton, 82, of Roff are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Earl Hood and Theresa Ray will officiate. Burial will follow at Coalgate Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Horton died Monday, September 1, 2014 at an Ada nursing home. She was born September 27, 1931 in Cottonwood, Oklahoma to Newt and Janie McLesky Ward. She attended Cottonwood schools.
She married Billy Reynolds Horton in 1951. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2011. Mrs. Horton and her husband were the owners and operators of the Tiger Drive-In in Roff and a feed store and trucking company in Sulphur. Previously, she had been employed with Callaway Nursing Home in Sulphur. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Joe Horton and wife Sabra of Roff, and David Horton and wife Tammy of Eufaula; three daughters, Sandra Odom and husband Louie of Vanoss, Brenda Brady and husband Lance of Stonewall and Linda Monday and husband Billy of Stonewall; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Teagan Whyatt Brady; two sisters, Dorothy Lamoni and Evelyn Priest; a half-sister, Aslee Patterson; and four half-brothers, Alvin Ward, Austin Ward, Emmitt Ward and Buddy Ward.
Bearers will be Cam Ray, Cody Ray, Bobby Jones, Tony Lamoni, James Horton and Chuck Horton. Honorary bearers will be Dillon Monday, Scott Muntz, Ricky Brady, Kenny Muntz, Clint Sutton, Josh Scribner and Tagus Horton.
