Funeral services for arol Ann (Pebworth) Harris,a longtime resident of Ada, formerly of Coalgate, OK, will be held Wednesday (today) at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Tony Folger officiating.Burial was in the Coalgate Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
Carol was born October 15, 1963 in Grapevine, TX to Daniel Dan and Della Marie (Loudermilk) Pebworth and passed away November 26, 2011 at her home in Byng, OK at the age of 48 She attended Coalgate schools and married Vernon Ray Harris on April 3, 1987 in Stonewall, OK. Carol was former owner of the Carol's Short Stop in Fittstown and cafeteria manager for McLish Schools.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon Ray Harris of the home; children, Rick Tillery and wife Kayla of Booneville, AR, Jessica Holland and husband Jason of Ada and Danyell Knight and husband Chad of Ada; grandchildren, Melanie Hester and Vernonica Tillery of Booneville, AR and Della Pebworth and special friend Roger Sipes of Tuska, OK; brothers, Daniel Pebworth and wife Mary of Coalgate, sister, Diana Watkins and husband Glenn of Coalgate; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Pebworth; grandparents, Preston and Vera Pebworth and Loyd and Maretta Loudermilk; and father and mother-in-law, Windell and Maxine Harris.
Pall bearers will be Jonathan Pebworth, Jason Pebworth, Jesse Pebworth, Janson Pebworth and Alvin Pebworth. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Loudermilk, Charles Loudermillk, Tommy Loudermilk, Clay Lane, Darrell Harris and Buddy Johnson.
