Melba Lois Gayler, age 81, a Cottonwood resident. She was born on May 29, 1939, to Herbert A. and Alice Martha (Williams) Brown, at Olney, OK. Melba passed away on January 6, 2021 at her home in Cottonwood, OK. She graduated from Olney High School in 1957. Melba was a House Wife. She married Billy Ray Gayler on December 29, 1959 at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2011. Melba was a Christian lady. She loved sewing & raising her grandchildren. She ran a Day Care for a few years. Melba loved making pecan pies.
