Dorothy Mae (Lanoy) Ennis, age 88, a Wardville resident, was born on January 29, 1936, to Clemo and Bertha (Thompson) Lanoy, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. She passed away on June 7, 2024, at her home in Wardville, at the age of 88 years, 4 months and 9 days. Dorothy attended school at Coalgate. She was a CNA for Home Health Agencies and was manager of Wade Enterprise. Dorothy retired in 2006 at the age of 70 years. Dorothy married Virgil Lee Ennis on January 5, 1957, at the home of Mrs. Grace Holt. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage before her passing. She was a faithful member of the South Agnew Church of God in Oklahoma City for 30 years. Dorothy also attended the Church of the Nazarene at Coalgate. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Dorothy loved working with the children at church.
