Darvin Doyle Dickson, age 68, an Atoka, OK resident was born on Thursday, February 16, 1950, to Charles and Blanche (McGinty) Dickson, at Omaha, NE. Darvin passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Denison, TX. He graduated high school in Clay Center, KS.

Darvin was a truck driver and a sheet metal journeyman. He married Phyllis (McNeese) Dickson on Saturday, June 3rd, 1972 at Clay Center, KS. They had 46 wonderful years together. Darvin attended Assembly of God. He was an avid deer hunter and a gun enthusiast.

Darvin is survived by his wife, Phyllis Dickson of the home in Atoka, OK.; sons, Shannon Dickson and wife Dimitria of Atoka, OK, Brian Dickson and wife Jennifer of Rowlett, TX; daughters,Camillia Dickson of Pickton, TX, Christine Burnett and husband Roger of El Dorado, KS, Crystal Miller and husband Joe of Collinsville, TX; brother, Ronald Dickson and wife Nancy of Clarksville, TN; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Darvin is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Blanche (McGinty) Dickson; sisters, Sharon Schumock, Winnie Rogers; brothers, Charles Dickson Jr., Dallas Gene Dickson; brother-in-law,Richard Schumock.
