Funeral services for Bobby "Tony" Eugene Corsini, a longtime resident of Coalgate, will be held Friday, April 16 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Coalgate with the Rev. Jeff Self officiating. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.
Mr. Corsini was born August 21, 1931 in Sherman, TX to Nondo and Lucy Forneris Corsini and passed away April 12, 2010 in Coalgate at the age of 78. He attended Coalgate schools graduating in 1949. On July 22, 1955 he married Norma Rogers in Coalgate. Tony was a retired co-owner of C & C Hardware and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Corsini of the home; son, Tom Corsini and wife Patty of Coalgate; daughter, Gina Corsini of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Barrett Corsini and wife Lindsay of Tulsa, and Tanner Corsini and finace Katie Gragg of Tulsa, brother-in-law, Bill Avanzini of Coalgate; nephews, Joe Avanzini and wife Phyllis of Coalgate and Jim Avanzini and wife Gayle and daughter Jennifer of Scottsdale, AZ; niece Ann Palmer and husband Tammy and their children Luke and Lucy of Coalgate; along with numerous other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by parents and sister Joy Avanzini.
Pallbearers will be Joe Avanzini, Tammy Palmer, Luke Palmer, Guy Sims, Barry Edwards, and Gary Coffee. Honorary bearers will be Bob Cody, Paul Rogers, Nick Lolli, Bob Smith, Jimmy Parker, and Jimmy Avanzini.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Coalgate Perpetual Fund at City Hall.
