Funeral services for Jacquetta "Jackie" Ann (Lamb) Acosta, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday, January 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate wit Rev. Bill Weathers officiating. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown's Funeral Service in Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Acosta was born November 12, 1935 in Germantown, IN and was raised by Fred and Lela Reagan. She passed away January 5, 2011 in Oklahoma City at the age of 75. Jackie was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include sons, Richard Paul Jarrett, Victor Lynn Acosta, and Wallace Dale Acosta; daughters, Sharon Diann Clapp, Robin Lee Jarrett, and Teresa Moore; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; sisters, Dee Byndon and Brenda Reagan; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lela Reagan; daughters, Joetta Lynne Guy and Janice Gail Acosta Dority; son, David John Cagle and brother, Dale Lee Reagan.
Casketbearers were Roy Deck, Eric Steveson, Chris Clymer, Bryan Layton, John Ladner, and Carlos Argo. Honorary bearers were Greg Peters, Rick Day, Gary Breger and Billy Don Smith.
