Betty Jean Northcutt

Bryan Royce Baker, 44, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Betty Jean Northcutt, 78, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 8, 2025, at Meeker Nursing Home, Meeker, Oklahoma.

Betty was born on August 27, 1946, in Coalgate, Oklahoma, to Earl Odell and Maude May (Sizemore) Northcutt. She was the 2nd to the youngest of 6 siblings. Betty grew up in Coalgate, and as a teenager became a resident of Coalgate Nursing Home. In 1995, she relocated to Meeker. At the time of her passing, she held the distinction of being the most longtime resident of Meeker Nursing home.

Betty spent her days listening to all types of music, watching t.v., drinking coffee, and eating honey buns. She especially loved to color. Betty was a very sweet lady and everyone's friend. She was loved on by her nurses who affectionately nicked named her "Betty Boo" and became like family to her. Betty's family is comforted by knowing that Betty is in Heaven due to her special needs and beautiful, innocent faith. Betty's family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses at Meeker Nursing Home that cared for and loved Betty throughout her stay there.

Betty was proceeded in death by her parents, Earl and Maude Northcutt; and her siblings, Joyce Vanloon, Wanda Stevens, Peggy Grivette, Pat Wilson, and Butch Northcutt.

She is survived by 8 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; other family members and friends.
