Funeral services for Charles "Circles" Randle Hunter, a Tupelo resident, were held Friday, February 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Bob Graham and Rev. David Boggs officiating. Family night will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial was in Centrahoma Cemetery with Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hunter was born May 8, 1956 to Hershel and Florence Elizabeth Miller Hunter and passed away February 17, 2009 in Coalgate at the age of 52. He attended Tupelo school, married Cynthia Batchelor and later married Nelda Baker. He worked oil field and construction and was of the Baptist faith
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Hunter of Tupelo, OK; father, Hershel Hunter of Tupelo, OK; sister, Sandra Owens and husband Jimmy of Tupelo, OK; brothers, James Hunter and wife Gayla of Tupelo and Jaye Harkins and wife Sharon of Ada; along with numerous other relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Jean Hunter.
Casketbearers were James Hunter, Tony Lemons, Bill Stein, Trey Salinas, Rick Salinas, and David Stein. Honorary bearers were Jimmy Owens, Steve Miller, David Hunter, Dennis Looney and Loyd Dodson.
