Danny Kaye "Boone" Ward

Danny Kaye "Boone" Ward, a Stuart resident for the last 35 years. He was raised in Coal County. He was born on March 5, 1947, to J.C. Ward and Waunella (Hedgecock) Prince, at McAlester, OK. Danny passed away on October 14, 2022 at McAlester, OK at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 9 days. He attended Mowdy Grade School. Danny graduated from Coalgate High School in 1965. He attended Okmulgee Tech where he studied Student Art. Danny retired from the City of Coalgate. He worked at Coalgate Schools and the Oklahoma Game Department. Danny worked at Garrett Bookstore in Ada. He was the Preacher of Coalgate First Presbyterian Church and Ashland Baptist Church. Danny continued to officiate funerals for anyone who asked. He married Patricia May Tomlinson on September 20, 1966 at Durant, Oklahoma. They enjoyed 56 wonderful years together. Danny was a Christian and preached the Word in a lot of different denominations. He liked to hunt, fish, walk, watch butterflies and look at the trees. Danny loved life and being outdoors. His favorites times were spent with his family especially his grandkids.D
