Geneva Nadine Hart Munn-Allerding

Geneva Nadine (Hart) Munn-Allerding, a Coalgate resident, was born on October 26, 1934, to Lee Roy and Mary Augusta (Winopp) Hart, at Medicine Lodge, Kansas. She passed away on January 25, 2025, at her home in Coalgate, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 30 days. She graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in Kansas with the Class of 1952. Geneva was a secretary at the Coalgate Housing Authority for many years. She also worked for the Chamber of Commerce and Big 5 Community Services. Geneva married Sam Munn on July 7, 1952, at Tacoma, Washington. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1986. She later married Burton Allerding on October 18, 1997, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2006. Geneva was a member of the Coalgate Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She liked gardening and enjoyed her cats. Geneva enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time with Phyllis Mixon. Geneva loved her grandchildren more than anything.

SURVIVED BY Children: Lee Munn and wife Colleen of Coalgate, OK Mary Lane and friend Bruce Goodno of Coalgate, OK Grandchildren: Amy Thompson and husband Chad of Coalgate, OK Brett Burns and wife Melissa of Coalgate, OK Rebecca Walters and husband Tyson of Durant, OK Sarah Emery and husband Martin of McAlester, OK Angela Dedmon and husband Jeffrey of Durant, OK Alicen Newman and husband Troy of Coalgate, OK Great Grandchildren: Zach, Darby, Emily, Sam, Patrick, Beau D, Isabella Matthew, Eleanor, Ezekiel, Chloe, Ruth, Qwen, Freya and Gracie Great Great Grandchildren: Logan, Charlotte, Harbor, Lane, Isaac and Corbin Sisters: Mary Margaret Wilson Hylon Wiedner Special Friend: Phyllis Mixon Along with numerous nieces, nephews and dearly loved friends
