Funeral services for Wallace Wendall Alexander were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada, OK. Interment followed at Boiling Springs Cemetery in Lula, OK. Officiating was Rev. Jeff Frazier with the Rev. Osborne Roberts and Rev. Willie Gant assisting. Wake services were held at 7:00 pm Friday, July 9, 2010 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada, OK. with Rev. Osborne Roberts and Mr. Merle Berryhill officiating.
Mr. Alexander was born November 3, 1950 in Coalgate, OK to Jeff Alexander and Elsie Frazier Alexander and died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at his residence in Ada, OK at the age of 59. He married Linda Madere on March 25, 2006 in Ada, OK.
Wallace attended Allen Public Schools in Allen, OK while growing up and had worked for the Chickasaw Nation as a clerk for many years. He was a lifelong resident of the Ada area and was a member of the Boiling Springs Methodist Church in Lula, OK for many years. He loved to watch basketball, softball, and the OU Sooners.
Survivors include his wife Linda Alexander, of the home; four sons, Jonathan Alexander and his wife Erin of Ada, OK., Narcisse Alexander and his wife Jennifer of Norman, OK., Randall Alexander of Lawton, OK and Brandon Primeaux of Sabetha, KS; two daughters; Stacey Grimm and her husband Jeremy of Sabetha, KS, and Kristy Schweitzer of Ada, OK; three sisters, Darla Wolf of Ada, OK; Marie Frazier and husband Ervin of Allen, OK and Geneva Holman of Ada, OK; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jeff and Elsie Alexander; one brother Cody Alexander; and one sister, Geraldine Frazier.
Pallbearers were Warren Alexander, Jordan Alexander, Little Jeffrey Alexander, Robbie Wells, Brad Milne, and Christian Burgess.
Services were under the direction of Smith-Phillips Funeral Home - Ada, OK.
