Norma Jean Stephens “ Jeanne”, Age 75, passed peacefully on August 31, 2011.Jeanne was born in Norman Oklahoma and was a member of the Absentee-Shawnee and Delaware Tribes. She spent most of her life in the Norman, Shawnee and Oklahoma City areas. She was a member of The Covenant Fellowship Church of Oklahoma City. She loved the Lord and time spent with her family. Her hobbies included shopping for hats, art work and traveling.
She is
survived by her husband of 35 years, Bradley James Stephens of Oklahoma
City, Ok. Her daughters Sharon Diane Cooley of Norman, Ok., Veronica
Wallace of Shawnee, Ok., Brenda and husband Matt Hutchens of Norman,
Ok., son, Mark and wife Londa Stephens of McKinney, Tx. and daughter
Tammy and husband Chuck McMahan of Tulsa, Ok. Sister Florene Belden
Kohn, brother Bill Johnson Jr, niece Lowanda Abraham and her son Thomas
Abraham. Grandchildren Jake Alan Cooley, Kristy Wallace-Cagle, Joshua
and wife Joanne Stephens, Stacy Wallace, Stephanie Hutchens, Audrey
Hutchens, Justin and wife Jodee McMahan, Joshua McMahan and Nikki
McMahan. Great grandchildren Lauren, Skryrae, Kashton, Adysyn, Kylie
Grace, Allyson, Justin Jr, Kennedy; great niece Kristin Skinner and
many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2011 at
Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St. Norman.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011 in
the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following at
Warren Cemetery under the
direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
