Standridge, Bob J., 69, went to be with his Lord on Monday, December 19, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. 

Bob was born August 20, 1942 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Jody and Zora (Burch) Standridge.  He was united in marriage on November 12, 1962 in Richmond, California to Margaret Luther.

Bob was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance for 27 years before retiring in 1994.  He was also in the top 500 at Prudential.  Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, football and volleyball, swimming, and being outdoors.  When Bob's children were young he enjoyed coaching their little league games.  He loved spending time with his family traveling and having special nights together.  He will be missed by all that loved and knew him. 

Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home; two sons, David Standridge and Rob Standridge and wife Lisa both of Norman; one daughter, Loraine Lafevers and husband Vernon Zittercob of Yukon, OK; one brother, John Standridge and wife Donna of Marysville, CA; seven grandchildren, April and husband Mercer, Ashley and husband Jason, Paige, Gavin, Holly, Harper and Sam and wife Colby; four great grandchildren, Madelynn, Cameron, Brady, Zane and one on the way; and a host of family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.D. And Bill Standridge; and one sister, Carol Jones. 

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2420 Springer Dr. Ste 205, Norman, OK 73069. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Crosspointe Church, 2601 24th Ave. SE, Norman.
