Rob Van McClellan

Rob McClellan, of Norman, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 in an auto accident in California.
He was born March 28, 1963 in
Odessa, TX to James Thomas McClellan and Patricia Jean (Humphreys) McClellan. He
grew up in Algiers, Africa; Kenai, Alaska; and Ruston, Louisiana. He graduated
from Ruston High and attended Louisiana Tech and the University of Oklahoma. Rob
was an honorary member of the Cheyenne Tribe.
He was an artist, writer, and musician. He used his countless talents to teach
and give back to the many communities that he enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his father J. T. McClellan.
Rob is survived by his mother
Pat McClellan of Norman; sister Megan Moore and husband Mark Moore of Norman;
brother Kevee Ramsey and wife Martha of Linden, TX; brother Kellee Ramsey and
wife Joyce of Edmond; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 pm Wednesday March 23, 2016 at Havenbrook Funeral
Home in Norman. Services to celebrate his life will be 3:00 pm Thursday, March
24, 2016 at the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at
Warren Cemetery.
