Landis, Tim, 53, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  He was born July 15, 1958 in Troy, Ohio to Betty Marlene Durst.  He was united in marriage to Lynn Hathaway on July 28, 1979 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Tim's career was in the home improvement/building materials industry for 30 years working for Payless Cashways, Home Depot and was most recently the store manager at Westlake Ace Hardware in Midwest City.  Tim enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family water skiing, fishing, camping.  He also loved woodworking and tinkering in his “mancave” with his friends.  Family was very important to Tim and he loved every minute spent with them traveling to gymnastics meets and family vacations.

Tim is survived by his wife, Lynn Landis of the home; his mother, Marlene Hahnel; one son, Josh Landis and wife Lesley of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Allison Keiffer and husband Brandon of Norman; two brothers, David Landis and wife Rose of Bloomington, Indiana and Daniel Landis and wife Kathy of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Connie Thomas and husband Bruce of Owensboro, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Reese Keiffer and Riley Keiffer; and a host of other family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Hahnel.

Memorials may be made to www.ALS-MDA.org in memory of Tim. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 with the family greeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2011 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in Warren Cemetery of Norman.  Arrangements for Tim and his family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
