Patricia J. Kondonassis, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
A native of Clay Center, Nebraska, she received her Bachelor's
Degree in Music from The University of Michigan and her Master's
Degree from Indiana University. She taught public school music
and maintained a large private piano studio for most of her
life. She was born December 12, 1927 in Clay Center, Nebraska to
Rufus and Margaret Mundorff.
Patricia is survived by two children, John Kondonassis and
Yolanda Kondonassis; her granddaughter, Amanda Sachs; and her
sister, Carolyn Whitesel. A Norman resident for almost 30 years,
she was an adventruer at heart and lived in many different
cities later in life, including Phoenix (AZ), Houston (TX), Gary
(IN), Dickinson (ND), Sarasota (FL), and Las Vegas (NV). She
will be loved, missed, and remembered by her family and by all
who benefited from her passion, commitment and love.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4,
2012 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment
following in the Warren Cemetery.
Arrangements for Patricia and her family were placed in the care
of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
