Dunn, Frank K., 92, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 in
Norman, Oklahoma. He was born June 13, 1920 in Houston,
Mississippi to Frank Knox and Corinne Winter Babb.
Frank served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII.
During his early career he was a psychiatric social worker in
both hospital and school settings. Later he taught sociology
and social work at Highland Community College, Freeport, IL
until retiring in 1989.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Loraine Dunn of Norman; and
cousins, Gwendolyn Caylor of Texas and Evans Winter of
Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife,
Alicia Dunn.
Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July
4, 2012 at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012
at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 1506 W. Imhoff
Rd., Norman with
interment following in the Warren Cemetery. Arrangements
for Frank and his family were placed in the care of the Vice
Family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online
