Pam "Punkin" Tiger, 47, of Norman, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013
in Oklahoma City.
She was born Nov. 1, 1965 to Webster and Geraldine (Panther) Tiger in
Norman.
Pam was raised in Little Axe and attended Little Axe Public Schools and
was a graduate of Bethel High School.
She moved to the Tecumseh/ Shawnee area and lived for many years before
moving to Norman. Pam moved to Anaheim, Calif. and lived for a short
time before returning to Norman where she resided ever since.
Pam worked for the University of Oklahoma for many years. She was a
proud member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe. Pam enjoyed spending time
with her family, shopping, going to the casino and singing gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Timothy "Bo"
Tiger, Michael Wayne Tiger and Steven Lawrence Tiger; and sister,
Barbara Little Charley Whittaker.
Pam is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jose A.
Medina, of Anaheim, Calif.; son, Jonathan Webster, of Norman; five
sisters, Linda Tiger, of Oklahoma City, Patsy Tiger, of Taylor, Texas,
Martha Watson, of Shawnee, Phyllis Tiger, of Shawnee and Rosada Bowden,
of Norman; three brothers, Leonard Tiger, of Shawnee, Darryl Tiger, of
Shawnee and Anthony Tiger, of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and one
on the way; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Wake service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Brendle Corner and
service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at Pentecostal Church
of God Indian Mission in Little Axe with Brother Harold Williams and
Sister Pauline Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow at Tiger Family
Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
