Vivian Nell
Landers, 87, of Norman passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Vivian
was born December 6, 1926 in Graham, Texas to Gerald and Inez (Besaw)
King.
Vivian “Nanny” took care of children in her home for over 40 years and
considered them her children. Vivian loved her children, grandchildren,
and great grandchildren dearly and they meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy M. Landers;
and her granddaughter, Kimberly.
Vivian is survived by her son, Robert
Landers and wife Merelyn; her two daughters, Linda Danner and husband
Ken and Billie Neal and husband Jim; her sister, Darleene Woods; her
nine grandchildren, Jackie, Marya, Kindra, Kenny, Jamie, Robbie, Shane,
Heather, and Kevin; her fifteen great grandchildren, Derrick, Jacob,
Ryan, Josh, Patrick, Erin, Meredith, Lyssa, Micah, Lauren, Dylan,
Raelynn, Luke, Grace, and Ryah.
Visitation for Vivian will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday,
January 24, 2014 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00
p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25,
2014 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 3401 Havenbrook Street in
Norman with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in
Norman.
Memorials may be made in memory of Vivian to the American Cancer Society
or charity of choice.
Arrangements for Vivian and her family were placed in the care of the
Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
