Tony “TJ” Green, age 78 of Washington, passed away Thursday April 21, 2016, at the Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Purcell. Tony Junior Green was born September 7, 1937 in Atoka, OK. His parents were Tony Green and Katie (Wright) Green. He spent his early childhood in the Wayne area and later Washington and attended both schools. TJ served his country proudly in the United States Army for 2 years. He lived most of his life in Washington and worked both as a carpenter, but mostly in small engine repair. TJ was a member of the Washington Church of Christ. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: His parents: Tony and Katie Green; 2 sisters, Lena Powell and Mildred Keen and A brother, Richard Green.
TJ leaves behind: His daughter, Kimberly Dion and husband Mark of New Hampshire; Granddaughter, Angela Dion of New Hampshire; Sister, Reba Boettler and husband John of Purcell; 2 brothers, Hoyt Green of Washington and Jerry Green of Noble; Sister-in-law, Johnnie Green of Norman; Brother-in-law, Stanley Powell of Noble; Several nieces and nephews and cousins and a Host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com
