Judy Marie Dunn, 72, of
Norman, Ok. passed away unexpectedly March 29, 2016. She was born May 29, 1943,
in Mosinee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Norbert and Blanch (Boettcher)
Kowalchyk. She boarded a bus on day and met and married the love of her life
Albert Dunn on August 5, 1967. They were married 48 years but their love still
endures.
Judy grew up, in Mosinee, Wisconsin and attended Silver Lake College. She worked
in housekeeping at the NCED Conference Center & Hotel. She was a hardworking
wife and mother who was proud of her children and grandchildren. She had a laid
back attitude and loved life. In her spare time she loved reading her Bible,
gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Norbert Jr., and
a sister, Betty Borchardt.
Judy is survived by her
husband Albert Dunn, son Eric Dunn and wife Wendy, daughter Janet Fischer and
husband Scott and stepson whom she considered her own, Rockney Dunn Sr. and wife
Stefanie, grandchildren; Allan Chase, Christian Dunn, Jason Dunn, Rockney Dunn,
Jr., Angel Dunn and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous
loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday April 4, 2016 at the
Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel officiated by
Harold Branstetter, 3401 Havenbrook Street in Norman with interment following at
Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman.
