Funeral services for Gerald Winters were held October 28. 1991 at the United Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Charles Clanton and Rev. Dan Baldridge assisting. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Primrose Funeral Home.

He was born in Baxter Springs Kansas on September 6, 1936 to Irene and Lonnie Winters and passed away on October 24, 1991 at his home in Moore.

On June 16, 1958, he married Frances Marie Parks in Clovis New Mexico. They moved to Pampa Texas for 25 years and he worked as an oilfield driller. They moved to Moore in 1987. They were members of the United Pentecostal Holiness Church in Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jonathan M Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; two sons, Raymond Dale Winters of Tulsa and Gerry Wade Winters of Monroe Louisiana; two daughters, Fonda Marie Dixon and Rebecca Faye Webb, both of Moore; a sister Doris Cox, Kingman, Arizona; two brothers Everett Eugene Winters , Pittsburgh Kansas and Myrl William Winters of Sunset Louisiana; and five grandchildren.
