Kenneth Randel Williams, 68, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident.He was born February 3, 1942 in Marlow,
Oklahoma to Lewis and Essie B. (Elam) Williams. He was united in
marriage to Connie Garrison on October 16, 1982 in Enid, Oklahoma.
Kenneth served his country in the National Guard and was a meter
supervisor for OG&E retiring in 2002 after 42 years of service. Kenneth
enjoyed O.U. football, his season tickets to O.U. girls basketball games
and tinkering with his corvettes. Kenneth was considered a handyman
among his friends and family. He was known and loved for his gift of
gab. He especially enjoyed his morning breakfasts with his pals from
OG&E. His most important love was spending time with his family
particularly playing with the grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Connie Williams of the home; five sons,
Shawn, Kole, Mark, Aaron and Cory; one daughter, Lanai; one brother,
George Williams; nine grandchildren, Kristen, Steven, Morgan, Justen,
Alyssa, Jocelynn, Kaylee, Delaney and Carly due in March; and one great
grandchild, Karder.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his
first wife, Dalma Ruth Williams.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., Tuesday,
October 12, 2010 at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at
the Noble Assembly of God Church, 100 W. Post Oak Rd., Noble, OK with
interment following at Sunset Memorial Cemetery under the
direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation.
