Zachary Chase Stice, adored by his wife and son and loved by so many, went to our Lord on the morning of Saturday, July 18, 2015 with his family by his side, much too soon at the age of 31 years.

He married the love of his life, Kelsey Amanda Foster on August 6th, 2011 and was the loving father of Beckett Foster Stice, age 2.  Zac was loved by all who knew him.  He was a gracious, generous soul, who put the needs of others above his own.  He fearlessly faced the challenges of life and fought his bout with cancer with great resolve and courage. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent countless hours in the woods hunting game and on the lakes and streams where he loved to fish often times with his cousin, Jared Miller.  Technically, Zac was quite accomplished, earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and pursuing his lifelong passion for aviation design at Nordam and The Spaceship Company. At Nordam, he was acknowledged as “Engineer of the Year” in 2009. He returned to Oklahoma to work for Harsco in 2013. Harsco offered exceptional support during his 20 month long battle with cancer. In each of these roles, he became known for merging the complexity of engineering design with the practical constraints of the materials available for construction.  While his contributions to each of his employers was important, these achievements pale in comparison to his greatest legacy as a devoted and loving Husband to Amanda and Father to Beckett.

In addition to his immediate family, Zac is survived by his Mom and Dad, Joni and Mike Stice; his brother and sister-in-law, Tanner and Rachel Stice, his Grandparents, John and Dolphine Stice and Dorothe Miller; his in-laws, Steve and Debbie Foster, and Jeremy and Shana Foster; his Uncles and Aunts, Jeff and Kathy Miller, Rob and Sue Polk, Jim and Julie Miller, and Marie Burry; his cousins, Jared and Laura Miller, Andrea Miller, Robbie Miller, Kelly and Steven Randolph, Jason and Amanda Polk, Jennifer and Ian Looper; nieces and nephews, Madilynn Wright, Tripp Foster, Blakelyn Foster, and Reagan Joy Stice.

To honor and celebrate Zac's life, his family invites you to share in a memorial service at Life Church in Moore, Oklahoma at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 23 with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman.

For those considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests they be made to “Tenaciously Teal” or to the “Stephenson Cancer Center,” two organizations committed to the fight against cancer.
