R. D. Richmond, 63 of Choctaw, a loving husband and father passed away on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born to Bob S. and Betty R. (Core) Richmond on June 17, 1949 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

R.D. lived in Choctaw since 1998 previously living in Newalla. He enjoyed fishing. He was an inventory control/warehouseman for U.S Food Service.

He married Margie Scott on Sept. 27, 1975 in Van Buren, AR.

R.D. is survived by his wife Margi, 3 sons: Joe, Josh, and Jeff, 1 daughter Jenny Dang, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Rusty and Joe, and sister Becky Dunham.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Monday, Sept.10, 2012 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
