Patricia Faye Osburn entered this life February 26, 1936 and departed peacefully at her home, December 26, 2014.
She was born on the Vidaway oil lease in Creek County, OK.
She was a 1954 graduate of Edna, TX where she was the senior class favorite. Mom
was very creative and artistic and was an excellent seamstress. She also had a
way of making all that entered her home feel loved. Patricia was an excellent
cook and enjoyed feeding her family and friends. Mom had a soft heart for
children, the poor, the elderly and her cats and dogs. Her house was a home for
her children and others that needed a safe place to stay. Her grandchildren were
a great source of pride and joy. She had a beautiful voice that could be heard
singing at church and in her younger days at funerals. She was a member of the
Alameda Church of Christ for many years, but was a Church of Christ member all
of her life. Gospel music could often be heard in her home. She will be missed
more than words can express. The family would like to thank Loving Care Home
Health in Noble, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Dovie Kyle; sons, Scott
Osburn and Charles Stephen Osburn; and brothers, Lester Kyle, Carl Kyle, Ernie
Kyle, Jimmie Kyle, and Tink Long.
Survivors include her sons, Terry Osburn of Midwest City, Todd Osburn of Norman,
and Stephen Osburn of Norman; daughters, Tamara Osburn of Taos, NM and Shawna
Ingram of Norman; grandchildren, Courtney Ingram, Kyle Ingram, and Emalee Osburn.
