Funeral Services for Jill Marie Cook Lane, 38, will begin at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1506 Imhoff Road, Norman, OK, 73072.

She was born September 2, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jack and Rebecca Cook and raised in Norman, Oklahoma.  Jill died in her sleep of natural causes on March 14, 2013 in Lewisville, Texas.  She was deeply cherished by her family and friends.

After graduating from Norman High School she attended Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and chose to serve a mission, laboring in the Las Vegas, Nevada mission.  After serving her mission she graduated from Francis-Tuttle as a Respiratory Therapist.  She worked as a Respiratory Therapist for many years.  Helping children was her special joy and she was able to see details and give extraordinary care to her smallest patients.

Jill loved all of her nieces and nephews and enjoyed being a part of their lives.  Her family was very dear to her.  She loved serving in the church and had many callings.  Jill was gifted in working with troubled youth and substitute taught in the Lewisville School District.  Her friends and family always knew her as being cheerful and she tried to bring joy and happiness to others.  In November 2011, she married Bryan Lane.

She is mourned by a large and loving family.  Survivors include her husband, Bryan Lane, her parents Jack and Rebecca Cook.  Siblings: Lisa (James) Udy, Brad (Faith) Cook, Jeff (Cami) Cook and her in-laws Will and Deana Lane.  In addition to nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Jill is also greatly mourned by her wonderful friends that continually brought joy and love to her life.  Her family thanks all those who made her feel special.  The Cooks are grateful that Jill is with her Lord and Savior and He knows and loves her.

Burial will conclude in Sunset Memorial Park, Norman, Oklahoma.  Arrangements for Jill and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
