Willeva Greenlee, age 82, beloved wife of Bob Greenlee, passed away December 21, 2013 in Norman, OK.Willeva was born March 19, 1931 in Tribbey, Ok to Andrew Jackson
Bailey and Grace Deamore. Willeva married Bob on January 11, 1949 in
Bakersfield, California.
Willeva and Bob lived in California for several years and moved to Oklahoma in
2000. After moving here she and Bob became members of Crosspointe Church.
Willeva was a person of many talents. She was an entrepreneur owning a beauty
shop and dress shop. Willeva was a certified paralegal and attended law school
but was unable to finish due to the illness of her father. She was a private
investigator and volunteered to help children and battered woman. She had a
green thumb in gardening she was President of Boron Garden Club. She enjoyed
riding in their 1929 Plymouth Roadster with husband, Bob. Willeva’s greatest
pleasure was being a private airplane pilot traveling to Las Vegas, Old Mexico,
Bakersfield, Death Valley just to name a few.
Willeva was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband
of 64 years, Bob Greenlee and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and a big
family of friends.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Crosspointe
Church, Hwy 9 and S.E. 24th, Norman, Ok with
interment following at Sunset Memorial
Park, Norman OK. Arrangements for Willeva and her family were placed in
the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
